Blueprint Pictures, the production company behind ‘In Bruges’, ‘Emma’ and ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri‘ in conjunction with South of the River Pictures will be filming some scenes for a new independent British feature film in the town.
The film entitled ‘Wicked Little Letters’, is a period comedy-drama set in the 1920’s which follows a number of feisty women as they try to uncover a scandalous mystery infecting their town.
Arundel High Street is going to be the key location where a number of scenes take place.
Some of the shop fronts will be transformed into a 1920’s style appearance and some will close (see schedule below), however the vast majority of businesses will be OPEN!
Monday 26th September – Saturday 1st October, 0700 – 1800
The production company will be preparing the high street and a crew of around 20 will be working in the High Street to dress the shops.
Some parking bays will be out of use for safety reasons and pedestrians will be directed around the shopfronts. You are able to access the High Street.
Sunday 2nd October, 0700 -2100
The crew will be doing the final dress and laying ground cover to hide any road markings.
A section of the High Street will be closed, however, the majority of businesses will be OPEN in Arundel.
Monday 3rd October & Tuesday 4th October, 0700 – 1930hrs

Pedestrians access to the High Street will be maintained. However, whilst the cameras are rolling, the production company will be implementing short pedestrian holds.
This will be managed with location marshals and security who will be on hand to answer questions and direct pedestrians where necessary.
