Image 1/ Like every style queen, Emily in Arundel likes to stroll along a tree-lined avenue in her outfit du jour. The Champs Elysée is chic but on Mill Road, which is also lined with lime trees, you can marvel at the splendour of Arundel Castle.
Image 2/ Emily in Arundel has a cohort of eligible suitors. So what better location for a first date than Swanbourne Lake? Row around the lake before an English cream tea or Arundel G with T at the Grade II listed Swanbourne Lodge Tearoom.
Image 3/ Arundel is fashionista heaven. For this photoshoot, Emily found hats at Isabella Josie – Bespoke Millinery, and sourced pre-loved designer pieces at Willow & Eve. Retroesque was her destination for retro fashion, she discovered boutique heaven at Envy and a gorgeous dress from Parker’s Atelier, an Insta-famous concept store. For bags and accessories, Emily in Arundel heads to Fanny Adams. When you simply must finish your look with fresh flowers, visit Labour of Love Vintage. Whatever your style, Arundel is the place to shop.
Image 4/ Emily in Paris has her Champère Champagne house. Emily in Arundel enjoys award-winning English sparkling wine at Digby Fine English – because being this fabulous is thirsty work. Digby Fine English is the UK’s first high-street cellar door, the Arundel destination for vintage English fizz.
Image 5/ Hungry yet? Pallant of Arundel is a deli to rival any in Paris, with fine foods and wine from around the world and the best local seasonal and artisanal produce. This specialist food shop champions smaller producers and products not available in supermarkets.
Image 6/ How would you like your steak? Parisian waiters may raise an ironic eyebrow to any order other than ‘rare’, but at The Steakist, you choose your steak: beef, tuna, or cauliflower – and have it cooked your way.
