Monday - Thursday 11.30am  to 11pm
Friday - 11.30am to Midnight
Saturday - 10am (Breakfast) to Midnight
Sunday - Noon to 11pm

A family friendly pub
At the heart of Arundel’s Town Square awaits The Red Lion. It's doors opened over 300 years ago. On entering one is greeted warmly by a sea of : locals; visitors to the area; and highly attentive staff – but not necessarily in that order. Often you will find Chris the owner, if you are really fortunate his partner Samantha, they will ensure your visit is as pleasant as possible.

Quench your thirst with an excellent beer or cider on tap, discover fine wines, sip boutique gins or premier spirits, perhaps explore some interesting guest ales from one of the many craft breweries in the area. At Christmas try our warm spiced wine or a flagon of our renowned hot cider with a dash of rum – it's sure to thaw out the iciest of winter dragons. We also have tea and coffee and a range of alcohol free beverages.

We are dog friendly, we invite family groups and tables of friends or work colleagues to meet up. There are quiet corners for those who wish to enjoy a quiet drink or snack while surfing the web via our free wifi.

Food is served every day
Our menus include fresh Sussex produce with breakfasts on Saturday mornings (10am til Noon) and roasts on a Sunday. Try our Moules Marinière it is exceptional, sample our desserts they are mouth-wateringly delicious.

Sunny beer garden
Enjoy the large sunny beer garden with plenty of seating. There is a heated gazebo for the cooler evenings.

Live music
We are open till midnight on Friday and Saturday nights featuring live bands or acoustic acts. There is an open mic night on the first Thursday of the month and the critically acclaimed Jailhouse Blues Club on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
