The EDGE Café at Edgcumbes Coffee Roastery

Situated along Ford Lane, a mile from Arundel (on the way to the beach) you will find the Edgcumbes Roastery and award winning EDGE Café. If you fancy a visit to the unspoilt beaches at Climping – and you’re a coffee nut or tea lover then why not drop in on your way there?

Open 7 days a week, our motto is that we are ‘open for everyone’ and the EDGE Café is just that – we welcome young and old, ramblers, cyclists, dog walkers… or anyone seeking a bit of peace in a beautifully designed and innovatively presented environment – both inside the café and outside in the courtyard.

We passionately believe that the fresher the product, the better - and this applies not only to our coffee and tea but also to our range of locally handmade cakes, flapjacks, croissants and biscuits. We make all our delicious savoury toasties on site, using sourdough bread and fresh ingredients from some great local companies.

On most days you will find us roasting our coffee just across the courtyard in our converted Dutch barn, watch our roast masters at work and grab a bag of your favourite freshly roasted beans or loose leaf tea to take home and brew yourself using our range of innovative and easy to use kit! Our experienced, friendly staff will help you choose and as regular winners of the ‘Great Taste’ award programme, all our coffees are speciality grade quality, roasted with care and expertise and we can grind to your personal preference…now that’s what we call FRESH!
