Description
Escape the ordinary to a rural retreat in a beautiful village in the Sussex Downs with a stay in our charming shepherds' huts, Tansy & Ethel. Nestled on a working dairy farm, this cosy retreat offers great comfort and true countryside living. Enrich your children's lives with their inaugural cow-milking and calf feeding, explore local short walks or venture further afield onto the Southdown's Way.
The Shepherds' huts are set in a fully enclosed corner of a field adjacent to the farmyard. Tansy sleeps two with a king-sized bed, and all you could need with a fully equipped kitchen with hob, combi oven and fridge and a shower room, toilet and sink. Ethel provides sleeping for an additional two people with single trundle beds.
A welcome hamper and homemade brownies will be provided for your first morning.
We are happy for you to access the farmyard and watch the cows being milked and calves being fed. Please always be aware this is a working farm. High vis jackets are provided for children and hands must be washed after visiting the farmyard.
One well behaved dog is welcome and we have toweling dog robes available for you to borrow after walking.
There is also space to pitch one small tent (£12 per night adults/youths and £6 for children under 10 years)
No additional charge for babies, but please bring your own cot etc
