Handcrafting bespoke hats and headpieces for local and international clients for the horse racing season, weddings and other special events enables Isabella Josie to work across a wide range of traditional millinery disciplines. Sculpturing, beading, ribbon work, flower making, design and stitching are just some of the traditional techniques that are used to create a hat, fascinator or headpiece. The renowned Goodwood Revival also affords Isabella Josie the perfect excuse to create elegant hats and headpieces inspired by the1940s and 50’s.
A key quality of each Isabella Josie creation is that it should make each client feel fantastic and brim with confidence. Isabella achieves this by working closely with each client throughout the crafting process and by using high quality materials and excellent craft ship.
To provide clients with the ‘feel-good’ fact factor throughout the year, Isabella has also created a range of handcrafted headbands and hair accessories. Many of the styles, including the ‘Isabella Josie’ signature headwrap, have been designed to be worn in multiple ways to enable the wearer to style the accessory in a manner that reflects their personality and outfit.
Isabella Josie trained under a range of prominent royal family and celebrity milliners and has since used this knowledge and her experience to develop her own elegant millinery style. Over the last year Isabella Josie has also collaborated with local artists to design and create original and exclusive fabrics for use in her work.
