Created by Joyce Robinson, a pioneer in gravel gardening, and former home of influential landscape designer, John Brookes MBE, Denmans Garden is an RHS Partner Garden, Grade II registered and renowned for its curvilinear layout and complex plantings. Enjoy year-round colour, unusual plants, structure and fragrance in the gravel gardens, faux riverbeds, Walled Garden, ponds and conservatory. A tranquil, contemporary space on the southern slope of the South Downs, visitors will find inspiration for gardeners of all skill levels. The Plant Centre features unusual plants propagated on site and the gift shop has garden ornaments and vintage accessories along with work by local artists.
