This painting will be used to raise public awareness of the Arundel Bee Project and in the applications needed for the troughs to be placed around Arundel.
Please read the latest update from the Arundel Gallery Trail who are supporting the Bee Project.
Dear Artists,
We hope you are continuing to be safe and well, as we begin to look ahead to healthier and more positive times.
We are continuing to monitor the unfolding situation regarding the pandemic. Although the rapid roll-out of the vaccination programme and its initial impact offers a very real hope of returning to more normal circumstances this year, we anticipate that many repercussions of the pandemic will be with us for some time to come.
We feel it’s still too soon to define the shape/size of Arundel’s Gallery Trail 2021 – or to anticipate what limitations may affect the nature of the Trail. So at the moment we will NOT be opening the Registration process.
We will send a further update at the beginning of April.
Secret Artist Auction 2021
The good news is that we collected 60 birch wood panels from SeaWhite this morning! The AGT is once again able to fund this purchase from the proceeds of last year’s auction, so there will be no charge to individual artists for their panel this year.
We now ask you to get in touch with us to ‘reserve your panel’ and to make arrangements to collect it – by the end of March
Collect from : 54A Tarrant Street (as per last year).
Tel : 07966 500925 if you have any questions.
The deadline for returning your finished artwork will be SATURDAY 19th JUNE. This gives us time to assemble and photograph the works, with a view to start our marketing of the auction on social media in July – ahead of the live exhibition and the opening in August of the Secret Artist Auction.
Please do remember to sign your work on the back and you may additionally stick a label onto the back of the panel to give the buyer your contact details and/or website.
AGT Supporting ‘The Arundel Bee Project’
Thank you to the two AGT artists who have offered to produce a sketch and a painting for this project. Copies of these artworks will be passed on to the project organisers for use in their application proposals and awareness campaigns.
Kind Regards,
Penny, Andy & Marty
