Arundel Castle’s Head Gardener visits Tulips in Spain

Head Gardener, Martin Duncan has recently told us about some more tulips he recently discovered whilst on a visit to Spain. At the Ducal Palace in Gandia, he was delighted to come across some historic tiles depicting tulips! This was originally the home of the infamous Borgia family who in the 15th and 16th century were suspected of many dreadful crimes! The tiles showcased this historic emblem of wealth through the centuries!
