Arundel Castle is delighted to announce the reopening of its Gardens on Wednesday 8th July, in line with Government guidance, and has been certified as ‘Good to Go’ by VisitBritain.
The health and safety of the Castle team as well as its visitors remains a priority, therefore all Castle buildings will remain closed.
Visitors are invited to pre-book tickets via the Castle website. Tickets will be issued on a weekly basis, on a Friday for the following week, so it is worth checking the site regularly. The first release of tickets will be available to purchase from 3rdJuly via www.arundelcastle.org. Unfortunately, no walk-in visitors will be permitted, and ticket sales will have to be made via the website only.
A special ticket price of £10 for adults and £5 for children (5-16 years) has been launched, with free entry for children under five. The Castle gates will open at 10am Wednesday-Sunday as well as Bank Holiday Mondays.
As all Castle buildings will remain closed, entry to the main Castle, The Keep and the Fitzalan Chapel will not be permitted. No catering will be available; therefore, visitors are encouraged to make use of the many options that Arundel town has to offer.
There will be toilet facilities in the gardens which will be thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis. Hand sanitisers will be at key locations.
Please note that the reopening of the Castle gardens remains conditional on Government guidance and is subject to change.
