As a community it is vital that we all work together to be extra vigilant during this festive period and to ensure that we do our upmost to prevent and deter crime and to keep our community safe.
In response to recent criminal activity in the Arundel area, we as the police are working hard to increase our presence in Arundel and ensuring we provide an active deterrent via Operation Tinsel, which is our directive to combat shoplifting and theft during the festive period, and also through our routine High Visibility mobile and foot patrols.
As the local Community Officer to Arundel, I am passionate about the provision of crime prevention advice. It is vital that our community have the information and support at hand which will empower each person to recognise crime and to report it to us immediately.
During this festive period, if you see or hear of any crimes that have occurred in the area, or notice any suspicious behaviour, I cannot urge you enough to report it to us online on the link below or via 101 in the event of a non-emergency and 999 if the crime is in motion or you are in immediate danger.
Useful crime prevention resources are available on the links below and if you have any concerns or questions that I may be able to answer, then please feel free to email me on the following address:

On behalf of myself and the Arun Police, have a fantastic Christmas and please do stay safe.
